Your audio stays on your device

The editor reads and processes selected audio in your browser. Sound Trimmer does not upload your audio file, decoded audio or exported clip to a conversion server. The local MP3 encoder and other editor assets are served from this website.

No account or audio history

This release does not require sign-up and does not save your recordings or editing history in browser storage. The recording is held temporarily in page memory. Reloading or closing the page clears the editing session. Files you explicitly download are saved by your browser and remain on your device until you remove them.

Website traffic and hosting

Cloudflare hosts the website. Ordinary requests for pages and site assets may reveal network information such as your IP address, browser details, requested address and request time to the hosting provider. These requests are separate from your audio: the editor has no audio-upload endpoint. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its practices.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

This release contains no advertising scripts or visitor analytics scripts and does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Hosting and security services may apply their own security measures. If advertising or additional analytics are introduced, this policy and applicable consent controls will be updated.

When you email our shared support inbox, we receive the information you choose to send, including your email address and message. Do not send private recordings or sensitive information. We use messages to answer requests and investigate problems. Contact [email protected] for a privacy question.
